SUMMARY
Vimi is a great child. She is an excellent student and is a great addition to our class. She is outgoing and energetic, which can sometimes cause her to get distracted while completing work in class. She is very compassionate to all children, not just those in our class. Vimi has improved so much since the beginning of the school year and I am looking forward to seeing how much more she will learn before the end of the school year.
STRENGTHS:
Vimi is a well rounded child. She gets along well with her classmates and other children in our school
She grasps and understands new concepts quickly
She is advanced in many academic areas such as language arts, math and art
Vimi's verbal and written skills have greatly increased since the beginning of the school year. She can confidently write the entire upper case alphabet and can almost confidently write the entire lower case alphabet
Vimi puts forth a lot of effort in her school work
CHALLENGES:
Vimi has some difficulties writing out the lower case alphabet

中文方面:
学习认识汉字216个,能够读简单歌谣和故事。就是读得一字一顿,很慢很慢,有的词语还不能理解,例如:如果,建议,学期,开学等。
每天听三个故事,记忆力越来越好,复述故事的能力越来越强。二月开始,逐渐有了一些灵活运用的能力。比如,听完小熊和最好的爸爸一周后,可以很声情并茂的讲述并运用如下:
耶!妈妈,我就想要这个,我的妈妈是世界上最好的妈妈!
英文方面:
Phonics刚刚开始,读了两本HOP,两本BOB book。Sound-it-out能力仍然比较欠缺,很多词汇属于生硬记忆。
词汇量在扩大,但是复述英文歌谣口齿不清,日常对话不够流利,时常有but but but出现。说中文其实也有这个问题,应该不是能力问题,纯属急性子。
社交方面:
是个很善良热心的孩子,据不少家长反映很有“姐”性。目前尚没有什么小心眼和嫉妒心,比妈妈四岁的时候宅心仁厚许多许多。
在交朋友方面更多象爸爸,没有特别强烈的喜好,好朋友很多,似乎缺乏 best best friend。但是在以貌取人方面比较象妈妈,对长得不好看或者穿得不好看的小朋友及其家长通通比较不假辞色。
审美很先进,曾多次点评班级里Marcus妈妈比较漂亮。Marcus妈妈是一个小脸,大眼,长发,纤细,年轻,化妆,打扮入时的澳门美女。Marcus的爸爸有点象瘦版肚皮爹,一头艺术长发,风度比较谝谝。
明确要求去San Diego旅游。
未来展望:
因为天气原因,微米近来的户外活动很少。因为爸爸妈妈比较忙的原因,益智游戏比如puzzle,棋牌类也少了一些。听的音乐,学习的新歌也不够多。慢慢卡卡大点,天气条件也允许,业余活动应该安排的更diverse, balance一些。
微米的academic已经上了轨道。鉴于她接受快容易不专心的特点,进度应该放慢。需要多给她复习,把基础打扎实。另外英文又有点落后于中文,需要多给她看英文DVD,听英文audiobook,希望不久后也能生动的复述中文。
